Teacher Resources

The way Melody works is to share knowledge, experience and techniques among members, so that more and more teachers, parents and carers will be able to try out new musical ideas and activities with children and adults who have a learning disability.

Music clips

You can also download and play short recordings of some of the improvisation ideas where you see this icon:

Click to Listen

If you click the icon, the music clip will play through your internet browser. How this works will vary depending on how your computer is set up.

To save a music clip, right-click the icon (control-click on Macintosh machines) and choose 'save to disk'. You will then be able to listen to the clip whenever you want.

You will need software capable of playing MP3 music files. Most computers have this installed.

Downloading may take a while. We would be interested to know if you find this service useful.
